The appeal lasts for a designated fortnight each year at Armistice time, early November and the Organiser arranges the distribution of poppies and collecting boxes to all shops, public houses, schools in the area. Boxes are also distributed to members and helpers for House to House collections throughout the period.
Following the second world war, a record collection of £187 was achieved in Tenbury Wells.Last year (2017) a record £9,671.19p was collected in and around the Tenbury area.To date (2023) Tenbury has Collected £17.085.00

The Appeal Organiser is always interested in hearing from people willing to assist in the Appeal, either for House to House collecting or for Street collection.
